Round Table Discussions help you with your business problems

Innovations Rochester was founded as the Entrepreneurs Special Interest group by members of the August group. Its original mission was to serve those job hunters who were considering running their own business.

Over the three years InR has been in operation many persons have passed through its weekly workshops to discuss their ideas with others with the same goals and with people who have been there and made the mistakes that they were about to make.

Empire Golf Getaways, Coler Building Technologies, Ducks in Order, Cartridge World, or Business Metamorphosis may not be household words but each one of these new businesses were formed by people who at one time were members of InR.

Resources

InR has broadened its mission so that it is more than just a Special Interest Group for TAG. InR now has its own

blog and Yahoo Group

and is working on special projects such as finding startup funding for micro enterprises.

Occasionally community business experts join us. Bankers, lawyers, marketing communications experts and HR consultants have all shared their expertise with the group.

We meet for two hours every Wednesday morning. Come join us for our roundtable discussions where you get a chance to explain your idea for your new business; get your questions answered and share your problems.

InR is unique among business organizations. Its not a Tip group, a trade association nor is it focused exclusively on networking. The focused attention you get in our smaller meetings is not available in large discussion groups or cocktail party like settings.
