Event Submission Form

I've finally added an event submission form that can be used by visitors to the site to add their events to our catalog. It seems to work pretty well (at least to my mind) but I'm curious to see how the rest of the world views it.

Just so you know, submissions do not go directly onto the calendar. Instead they are posted in a draft mode, waiting for my approval. I will only approve those that seem to me to be of general interest to local entrepreneurs. (I am biased in favor of networking events and against technology events.)

Also note that there are limits on some of the fields. Titles, for instance, are limited to 40 characters, so that they don't overflow the space available for our weekly calendar. URLs are similarily limited to 100 characters. (I never really considered this to be a limit until I encountered a page in my testing that had a URL over 150 characters long. Why would anybody do that?)

One final note: Pressing the button on the form shows you a copy of your posting as it will appear on the site. You need to press the button on that second page in order for it to be submitted. Please take the time to proofread your submission before sending it on!

I hope you find this to be useful. I'm looking forward to lots of events appearing in our calendar!
